On February 24th, at La Défense (the business district near Paris), passers-by were surprised to see a giant cube of 5 meters high, equipped with a digital screen. This event was imagined and designed by JCDecaux Innovate and the agencies BETC and OMD.
One of the sides of the giant cube had a photo booth connected to the screen. Passers-by had their pictures taken, then their faces were instantaneously integrated into the digital poster.
Another side had the "paper" version of the ad, and was changed every 15 min with the people's faces.
This amazing event also allowed many participants to send their portraits by mail and walk away with a print version of their photo.
Under the motto “Venez commes vous êtes – Come as you are”, nearly 300 people were photographed and putted in the spotlight for a day: a nice way to engage consumers and show the diversity of McDonald's customers!
