JCDecaux, one of the world's leading outdoor advertising companies, today announced that Jeremy Male (42), currently Chief Executive of TDI's European operations, is to join the Company. He will become Chief Executive Officer for the UK and Chief Operating Officer for 14 countries throughout Scandinavia, Central and Eastern Europe. In this capacity, he will take over daily operational responsibilities from Jean-François Decaux who will focus on the Group's strategic and international development. Male joined TDI when the company entered Europe in 1994 through the acquisition of London Transport Advertising and has spearheaded its substantial growth in the UK and across Europe. Prior to joining TDI Male held senior management positions at European Food Groups such as Jacobs Suchard and Tchibo. Jean-François Decaux commented: "Jeremy's knowledge of the outdoor media scene in Europe and his reputation are second to none. I am delighted to have him on board.
