Raphaële Rabatel appointed director of communications

JCDecaux SA (Euronext: DEC), a world leader in outdoor advertising and the largest outdoor group in Europe, announced today that Raphaële Rabatel has joined the JCDecaux Group as director of communications. As such, she will be responsible for both internal and external communications.

She takes over from Martine Kneip who wishes to leave the Group soon for personal reasons.

Raphaële Rabatel was previously a consultant at Image 7, a financial and corporate communications consulting firm.

Ms. Rabatel, 39, is a graduate of the Institut d’études politiques de Paris, and holds a bachelor’s degree in History. She began her career with the Rhône-Poulenc Group in 1988, where she was in charge of national press relations. In 1996, she was appointed head of the Paribas Group’s press office. In 2000, she became director of external communications at the Caisse nationale des caisses d’epargne (French savings bank).
