Jean-Charles Decaux, co-Chief Executive Officer of JCDecaux, has carried out an organisational reshuffle at Avenir.
The new appointments will be effective from 1 December.
- Jean-Pierre Serrus, Deputy Managing Director responsible for Sales and Marketing since June 1999, is appointed as Managing Director of Avenir. A graduate of the Ecole Supérieure d'Ingénieur de Marseille (E.S.I.M.), Jean-Pierre Serrus, 40, joined the JCDecaux Group in 1992 as Deputy Director of Operations. He was then successively appointed as Director of Trottoirnet and President of G & A in 1993, Deputy Sales Director of RPMU (Régie Publicitaire du Mobilier Urbain) in 1995 and Managing Director of JCDecaux Italia in 1998.
- Jean-François Curtil, Network Director within the General Sub-Management of Assets since September 1999, is appointed as Assets and Development Director. With a degree in Business Law and as a graduate of the E.S.C. de Compiègne, Jean-François Curtil, 35, joined Avenir in 1990 as Sales Attaché in Toulouse before being appointed as Agency Director in Strasbourg (1994) and then "Eastern" Regional Sales Director (1996) and finally "Northern" Regional Director from 1997 to 1999.
- Emmanuel Dupont, Assets Director, is appointed as Concessions and Regulations Director. With an ordinary degree in Law, Emmanuel Dupont, 44, joined Havas in 1984. There he occupied various sales posts until 1988 when he was successively appointed, within Avenir, as Assets Director for the "Rhône-Alpes Region", then "PACA" and finally the "Western Region". From 1995 to 1998 he was Deputy Director in the Assets Department at Avenir headquarters.
- Catherine Picou, Human Resources Manager within the Human Resources Department of the JCDecaux Group since July 1999, is appointed as Deputy Director responsible for the co-ordination of Avenir's Human Resources. From 1970 to 1987, Catherine Picou, 50, was Departmental Deputy firstly to the Company Secretary of the Havas Group and then to the Managing Director of Havas Régies. She then joined Europoster, an international subsidiary of Avenir, as Departmental Attaché to the Managing Director where she stayed for 10 years. In 1997 she was appointed as Personnel Administration Manager in Avenir.
