La Prévention Routière and JCDecaux SA (Euronext Paris: DEC), the No. 1 European company in outdoor advertising and one of the world leaders on this market, have just signed a memorandum of agreement covering a three-year period.

Under this agreement, JCDecaux has placed 2,000 4x3 advertising panels at the disposal of La Prévention Routière for its awareness-raising campaigns.

The purpose of this partnership is to develop a joint programme of road accident prevention and safety campaigns for the general public and local authorities. It will combine JCDecaux’s know-how with the expertise of La Prévention Routière in the field of road accident prevention.

In addition, JCDecaux street furniture will be used to announce the winners of the twelfth « Echarpes d’Or » competition organized by La Prévention Routière. These awards are granted to local communities that have taken noteworthy initiatives to improve road safety.
