JCDecaux announced the launch of a friendly bid on 29,74% of the shares of AMS, (corresponding to 24,99% of the voting rights ), the leader of Outdoor Advertising in Poland.

The purpose of this offer is to create links between the leader of the Outdoor Advertising in Poland with the JCDecaux Group, world-wide leader of street furniture and european leader in bilboard adversiting.

Speaking about this offer, Mr. Jean-François Decaux, Chairman of the Executive Board and co-CEO of JCDecaux Group mentioned that :

" further to our recent partnership with Gewista, associated with Affichage Holding in Europlakat, we consider being in the best position to participate to the consolidation of the billboard Polish market. This consolidation is of the utmost importance, taking into account the recent ban of the advertising on tobacco products and the expected ban on beer, which represents an important part of the turnover of advertising in Poland.

Furthermore, thanks to our know-how and our experience in the street furniture business, we consider that a partnership with JCDecaux will improve the chances of AMS to win the tender offer to be launched by the city of Warsaw.

The successful experiences of the JCDecaux group regarding partnerships in Europe is, according to us an additional important factor ".
